Tesla’s 2 Year Lease Makes Model S Very Affordable
Currently, there are already an estimated 400,000 pre-orders for the upcoming unit, which means that Tesla might suffer in terms of sales for the Model S and Model X.

The battery upgrade also extends the range of the Model S to 315 miles, making it the first electric auto on the market to exceed 300 miles of range.
Tesla has begun testing a USA version of its latest Model S P90D sedan on the streets of Seoul, South Korea as the company gears up for entry into this new market.
Of course, with that additional battery capacity comes a little extra hustle.
Available for order immediately and due for deliveries starting in September, the models equipped with the new higher-capacity battery will sit at the top of the S and X model lines and promise greater range than the 90 kWh packs, which will stay in production. Even the Model X is quick off the draw, with a 2.9 second 0-60 miles per hour time when equipped with the P100D and Ludicrous Mode. On a conference call, Tesla CEO Elon Musk did note that the LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder are quicker, but you can’t buy them new anymore.
It’ll be limited to a small number of cars at first, with Musk noting that despite a relatively small increase in capacity it’s much more hard to produce.
The deal becomes cheaper if participants know a current Tesla vehicle owner. Those who ordered a P90D Ludicrous but haven’t received it yet can upgrade for $10,000.
Tesla drivers who now own a Model S P90D Ludicrous can upgrade to the 100 kWh packs for $20,000. This isn’t a simple software upgrade. The Model X P100D starts at $135,500, or $10,000 more than the equivalent Model X P90D.

On the other hand, the addition of a 100KWH battery would be welcome news for Tesla enthusiasts and provide further proof of its innovative capabilities.
