Tesla Who? Faraday Reveals Futuristic Electric Car
Sadly there’s no word on the range or price of any Faraday Future vehicle, but it seems multiple configurations will be available, including a triple-motor monster with all-wheel drive. If developed for limited production, it will have more than 1000 horsepower and will accelerate from zero to 60 in under three seconds, with a top speed in excess of 200 miles per hour.

We have quite a bit of news from the 2016 Consumer Electronics Shows (CES) today, including electric-car concepts from Faraday Future, Volkswagen, and BMW.
Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, left, poses for a photo in front of the FFZero1 by Faraday Future, alongside members of the Faraday Future team at CES Unveiled, a media preview event for CES International Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, in Las Vegas. However, the vehicle itself is only created to highlight the growing company’s capabilities, including their Variable Platform Architecture.
Looking like the kind of concept which has until now been reserved for video games, the FFZERO1 is created to provide the best possible blend of aerodynamics for driving performance and efficiency. But corporations from Silicon Valley to Detroit will use the CES gadget show in Las Vegas this week to reveal that autonomous vehicle know-how is heading for prime time.
Sampson remarked that once Faraday starts delivering its first production vehicle in a couple of years, the company will take advantage of digital design and test parts and molecular construction to be quicker than competitors.
Faraday Future was founded just 18 months ago and already has 750 employees, Sampson said.

According to a report in Wired, the auto concept will be built on ” variable platform architecture”. The FFZero1 is based on a flexible chassis that can be made longer or shorter to include a varying number of battery packs (and thus different sized cars). Then there’s Faraday Future, an fledgling, Chinese-funded EV company with big dreams and a tall order to fill. They have signed a $1 billion deal to build their initial factory in North Las Vegas, with plans to break ground in the next few weeks. Faraday spokesperson Stacy Morris said, “Showing a high-performance vehicle speaks to our DNA”.
