Texans beat Jets for third straight win
NY Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick (14) trades official Perry Paganelli (46) the ball for his helmet after he scored a touchdown against the Houston Texans during the second half of an NFL football game, Sunday, November 22, 2015, in Houston. This past Monday night, Houston pulled off their biggest win of the season taking down the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals by a score of 10-6, This is a very interesting match up and a game that could easily go either way depending on which teams show up.

There was plenty more than just the defense that can be credited with Sunday’s 24-17 win over the Jets, but the trend of Houston’s season is pretty clear.
They don’t deserve it, after starting the season 4-1 and hyping expectations for this team, the Jets have dropped 4 of their last 5 and sit in the middle of the pack in the AFC.
So why do the Jets (5-4) sit just outside the current playoff picture? Watt and the Texans keep the Jets offense under wraps Sunday. Thus, Yates is involved in an accelerated crash course on the nuances of the Texans’ playbook as he prepares to start a game for the first time since his rookie season five years ago.
This is the former first-round draft picks’ third team in the league.
Ryan Fitzpatrick & Co. managed only 57 yards before intermission.
Weeden will join the Texans for practice Thursday morning and start preparing to back up Yates. He now has four touchdowns in four games after catching the only score of the contest last week. Has 4 TDs in past 6…
Shorts was the star of that entire drive, grabbing a 16-yard reception on third-and-13 before grabbing a 35-yard reception on the next play. It’s hard to find them again this week, but the impact players of the game were: Bilal Powell, Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall, Damon Harrison, Marcus Williams, and Leonard Williams. Aims for 3rd in row vs. Texans with 130+ receiving yards… He started 12 games for Houston in 2014. After their touchdown the Jets allowed a touchdown pass on a trick play with wide receiver Cecil Shorts throwing to a wide open Alfred Blue making it 17-10. Last week, Blue reached 1,000 career scrimmage yards…
Yates overthrew Hopkins after he beat Revis down the sideline in the first quarter, but the two connected for a 61-yard touchdown catch against the all-pro in the second. WR Nate Washington has 3 TD catches in past 3… Jeffrey has been dealing with shoulder and groin injuries.
Watt also poses a threat on offense; he had three touchdown catches last season along with his 19 sacks.
When asked about the possibility of seeing Watt as an eligible receiver on the goal line, defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers said: “We have to leave no stone unturned”. What those numbers don’t say is he hasn’t been almost as effective as of late.

Fitzpatrick kept playing, and he threw two interceptions in the final three minutes as the Jets (5-5) lost for the fourth time in five games, which led a few fans on Twitter to wonder if he had sustained a head injury but continued to play.
