Texans D/ST comes to play in Week 15
The secondary also generated two crucial turnovers late in the game to help seal the win. They’ve been outscored 79-3 in the second halves of those three games.

Houston Texans quarterback TJ Yates tore his ACL during Sunday’s win over the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Should the Colts turn to Whitehurst to lead the offense in the final two weeks of the season as Indianapolis tries to claw its way back into the AFC South lead?
The South has always earned a reputation for being mediocre, especially considering that only the Colts and Texans have been mildly competitive in recent seasons. The Kansas City Chiefs are just one game back of the Denver Broncos after starting 1-5. Over at the NFC, there are four teams that have already secured a playoff spot (Carolina, Arizona, Green Bay, and Seattle), with the Vikings being all but certain of taking the second Wild Card, and only the slow drag to “crown” an NFC East champion between the Giants, Redskins, and Eagles resembling a true playoff race. O’Brien also said he’s uncertain whether Brian Hoyer, the regular starter, will return from a concussion.
“He’s a pro, he acts like a pro, he carries himself like a pro, he is a pro”, coach Bill O’Brien said.
“This team fights. This team shows up every weekend”.
Of course, all of those cracks soon became full-blown crevasses.
The Texans moved ahead of the now 6-8 Colts after trailing much of the game after Weeden found rookie receiver Jaelen Strong for Houston’s only touchdown of the game.
It’s not like there were a wealth of options at the position.
John McClain of the Houston Chronicle first reported the injury. “Look, I’m not sure he has the whole offense down pat, but I think he has enough that he can go in there and function”.
Pass rush: The Colts have been berated mercilessly for the lack of heat generated on quarterbacks.
A tip for any defensive coach looking to fix a struggling secondary: play against T.J. Yates and Brandon Weeden and things will improve instantaneously.
After Sunday’s injury, it’s not unrealistic to think Yates may have taken his last National Football League snap. Weeden, who made three starts for Dallas earlier this season and lost all of them, came in for Houston just a month after being signed following his release by the Cowboys.
In seven games this season, Luck has completed 55.3% of his passes, throwing for 1,881 yards, 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Can the Colts even make the playoffs? The Colts will now have to win the next two and hope things fall their way on the other side of the division to have any shot at the playoffs. However, they have been unable to make these types of throws this season for multiple reasons.
