The Houston Texans gave the Cincinnati Bengals their first loss of the season Monday night in an ugly 10-6 affair. J Watt, the teams only “Marquee” player to ask him about the defense dominating the pathetic Bengals offense. Afterward, Watt and Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, a Katy native, exchanged some words. Dalton had been having an MVP-caliber season prior to his uninspiring performance against the Texans.
Dalton struggled against a rapid Houston defence, averaging just 5.2 yards per pass and getting sacked three times, giving credence to Watts comment. “I was trying to break my fall”. It’s tough to lose.

Dalton’s frustration is more understandable when you factor in the fact he threw less than 200 yards, no touchdowns and had just one interception.
