Texas A&M’s Thomas Johnson admits to killing Dallas jogger say police
The jogger was out for a morning run when it’s believed he was randomly hacked to death by a suspect identified as 21-year-old Thomas Johnson.

The incident happened at about 8 a.m. Monday morning, along the White Rock Creek trail in northeast Dallas.
“He was angry about his situation”, DPD Deputy Chief Rob Sherwin told Fox 4.
According to the report, Johnson, 21, used “a large, edged weapon” to kill an unidentified male jogger. “It’s very unusual. It’s quite shocking”. Officials confirm the man was taken to an area hospital, but died from his injuries.
The witness said: ‘As I get closer and closer I could tell it was a machete and there are repeated blows that are occurring. “And he was repeatedly hitting it in the back of the neck”.
Johnson has had a troubled life since then, being arrested on charges including evading arrest, burglary, and auo theft for allegedly breaking into his aunt’s home.

But the Dallas Morning News reported that prosecutors had wanted the probation revoked after Johnson tested positive for marijuana and failed to meet other conditions of his bond.
