After walking out to the campaign’s “Fight Song”, she began her speech by saying, “What an incredible week it’s been”.
“For the struggling, the striving and the successful…For all Americans”, Clinton said.
“…His speech, his whole convention, seemed more about insulting me than helping the American people”.
“When any barrier falls in America, for anyone, it clears the way for everyone”.
The 2016 Democratic Party platform calls for the repealing of the Hyde Amendment, which critics say would allow for the unlimited federal funding of elective abortions for Medicaid recipients.
“Hillary is uniquely qualified to seize the opportunities and reduce the risks we face, and she is still the best darn change maker I have ever known”, he said, hitting back at Republican arguments she is a Washington insider tied to the status quo.
She also launched a scathing rebuke of Trump for painting a misleadingly dark picture of American society and she pledged repeatedly to create new jobs.
“He loses his cool at the slightest provocation…Imagine if you dare, imagine him in the Oval Office facing a real crisis”, Clinton said. “A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons”.

But the “America I know” refrain, and its variations, is a common phrase used by former United States presidents including Mr Obama himself and also George W. Bush.
“America is once again at a moment of reckoning”, she said at the Democratic National Convention, according to excerpts released before the speech. “And he offered zero solutions”.
The image of Hillary Clinton standing on the world stage as the president of the U.S. tantalises Democrats who have just ended their convention in Philadelphia. But they invoked Hillary Clinton’s name more: 251 times. “You’re right. It’s not yet working the way it should”.
She told supporters in a West Philadelphia arena the coming election was the most important one in her lifetime.
Chris Wiseman, 43, said he’s been on the fence about voting for Clinton but thinks of what her presidency would mean for his 2-year-old daughter. “The truth is, through all of these years of public service, the service part has always come easier to me than the public part”.
The convention provided hours of glowing tributes to Mrs Clinton, including deeply personal testimonials from her husband, daughter Chelsea and Mr Obama. That is the country she is fighting for, she said.
I sweat the details of policy because it’s not just a detail if it’s your kid, if it’s your family.

She then tore into Trump for calling the armed forces a disaster, which she says is a sign of “disrespect” to the men and women who wear the uniform. You’ve put economic and social justice issues front and center, where they belong.
