Texas Police Searching for ‘Active Shooter’

All schools in the district were placed on lockdown as police hunt the shooter who reportedly attacked at Alpine High School.

The Brewster County Sheriff’s office reported one person is shot and two suspects are on the loose, according to CNN.

Police dispatcher Scarlet Eldred had no immediate information on whether anyone was hurt in the unspecified incident shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday.

At least one active shooter has been reported at the Alpine High School in Southwestern Texas.

The high school in Alpine is on lockdown.

Alpine is located around 200 miles southeast of the West Texas town of El Paso.
