“I knew his time was coming”, said sophomore running back Leonard Fournette.

Red Raiders narrowed the lead to 21-13 when Mahomes went to Grant for a 3 yard TD score. “I’m not the type of person to – records are meant to be broken if they’re meant to be”. The game basically was over, although there still was a quarter to play.
LSU linebacker Deion Jones (45) and defensive end Lewis Neal (92) sack Texas A&M quarterback Kyle Allen (10) during the first half an NCAA college football game in Baton Rouge, La., Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015. The 6-1, 230-pound Fournette also set an LSU record for rushing touchdowns.
Behind a relentless pass rush, the Tigers (9-3) held Tech (7-6) below its per-game averages in passing yards, total yards and points in route to a 56-27 win. Texas Tech drove 90 yards in nine plays, taking up 4:23, on the drive.
Fournette also scored in the second quarter, catching a pass from Harris for a 44-yard touchdown.
“That was a big turning point”, Tech coach Kliff Kingsbury said.
About halfway through the third quarter, Tech’s offense was in rhythm and poised to cut into the Tigers’ 28-20 lead.
LSU’s defense then forced a rare three-and-out from the nation’s No. 2 total offense and took over at its 36.
“I would say the night was productive”, he said. We take care of all facets of web design – visual design, layout design and content development. Mahomes threw four scoring strikes – two of more than 30 yards – and senior receiver Jakeem Grant hauled in 10 catches for 125 yards and three touchdowns. DJ Chark had a 79 yard run for a touchdown on an end around in the first half.
The LSU defense took away Tech’s running game, limiting Deandre Washington to 37 yards on 10 carries. Texas Tech Red Raiders recorded 390.1 passing yards and 206.0 rushing yards while allowed 270.3 passing yards and 272.7 russhing yards with turnover differential of -0.2.
Tuesday night’s AdvoCare V100 Texas Bowl was a showcase of the talents of LSU Tigers running back Leonard Fournette.
Weakened by the targeting ejection of secondary anchor Weston Steelhammer on Air Force’s third defensive play, the Falcons (8-6) lost for the fourth time in five Armed Forces appearances since 2007. And it wasn’t just Fournette that gashed the Red Raiders.
In the first two quarters, Leonard Fournette led the Tigers’ rushing game with 81 rushing yards on 14 attempts, including a 2-yard touchdown run to first put LSU on the board. Mahomes, who finished 14 of 26 for 173 yards with two touchdowns in the first half, found Grant from three yards out for the touchdown.
Cam Cameron spent a good portion of the game forgetting that he has the best player in college football on his team.* At the half, LSU had almost a perfectly even split between runs and passes, which is a complete divergence from the team’s splits all year long.

Harris got it done with his feet and his arm. “I think we felt tonight that his energy from the sidelines was probably the difference. That’s what we needed him to do to have victory today”.
