Texas Toasted: Rubio, Trump Continue War of Words in North TX
Rubio says Democrats are rooting for Trump to win the Republican nomination, “They know the minute he gets the nomination, they will shred him to pieces”.

Trump is the victor in the South Carolina Republican primary. Early in the campaign season pundits expected Trump, a twice-divorced New Yorker, to not be able to connect with religious voters. Chris Christie announces his endorsement of Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.
“Once a choker, always a choker”, Trump declared at a news conference Friday in Fort Worth, where he received Christie’s endorsement. “They failed!” he wrote in one, misspelling both “lightweight” and “choker”.
In what can only be described as a Trumpian performance, Rubio also joked that Trump might have wet his trousers during the debate and had a sweat mustache.

Rubio would not let up, saying: “Even today, we saw a report in one of the newspapers that Donald, you’ve hired a significant number of people from other countries to take jobs that Americans could have filled”.
Describing Rubio meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump said: “He walks in and he’s drenched”.
Rubio said Trump ties were made in Russian Federation and China, so what is all this talk by Trump about blocking bad free trade deals?
Rubio maintains that he’ll still win his home state, despite the fact that Trump has led every major public poll in Florida taken since the start of November, save for one outlier that showed him down a scant two points to … But he’s clearly enjoying the new burst of momentum and has won praise from conservatives for using Trump’s own mocking and bullying style against him.
So far, after four primary and caucus contests, Mr Trump has 82 delegates, Texas senator Ted Cruz has 17 and Florida senator Marco Rubio has 16.
It was a rare night where Mr Trump found himself on the defensive.
