Other Dancing With the Stars contestants this season will include former Texas governor Rick Perry, model Amber Rose (who you may know as Kanye West’s ex), rapper Vanilla Ice (of Ice Ice Baby fame), and several other athletes, including 16-year-old US Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, former National Football League star Calvin Johnson and IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe.

Hip-hop and R&B artists have starred in the reality competition before, with Mya finishing highest, taking home second place in season 9. Little Women: L.A. star Terra Jolé is with Sasha Farber. Burke will be dancing with Lochte and Hough with Henner.
Lochte dodged the question about whether he would return to Brazil to face a charge of filing a false police report, which was announced last week. Race vehicle driver James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess – Hinchcliffe survived a horrifying crash on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2015, which the show is sure to address.
Rick Perry is Texas’ longest-serving governor and a two-time unsuccessful presidential candidate.
Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Allison Holker: Babyface has plenty of Grammys (11), but not a single mirror ball trophy.
Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson: Early white rapper, had success (“Ice Ice Baby”), fell on hard times, became late-night punch line, made numerous comeback attempts, now on “DWTS”. “This is completely new for me”, said Lochte to Good Morning America. “I was still going through the emotions of having a gun pulled on me”. He did however return for the season finale to dance, what else, the two-step. And in a line you would not believe if you hadn’t seen it published in black and white, Wade said, “I think at the end of the day, he really wants to dance”.
Maureen McCormick, who’s recognizable as her portrayal of Marcia Brady on The Brady Bunch, has been partnered with dancer Artem Chigvinstev.
