The number of employed workers jumped from 168,700 to 169.7 00 and increase of 1,000 more jobs. Grand Island’s jobless rate for October was 2.9 percent.
Florida’s private-sector job growth month-to-month has been positive for 48 consecutive months. The largest over-the-month percentage decline in employment occurred in Louisiana (-0.3 percent), followed by North Dakota (-0.2 percent) and CT, Indiana, Minnesota, North Carolina, and West Virginia (-0.1 percent each).
