On Saturday Houston police announced that the man suspected of fatally stabbing 11-year-old Josue Flores has been arrested and charged.

Andre Timothy Jackson Jr. was charged with murder Friday after officers tracked him down at Houston’s Salvation Army, where he had been living for nearly two months, officials announced Saturday.
Officials say Jackson is a homeless veteran who was discharged from the Marines in 2011.
Guadalupe Flores, Josue’s sister, told NBC affiliate KPRC that she wants to see her son’s alleged killer in court.
Houston investigators made the arrest Friday.
Just after the attack, several witnesses told police they saw Josue struggling against a man. Moments later, Flores collapsed to the ground and the man ran away. Josue was only a few blocks from home. Our minds search for answers that just aren’t there. “What we do know is that it was senseless, it was brutal, it was cold-blooded and someone needs to pay the price for it, and justice needs to be rendered”, the mayor said.
Andre Johnson’s arrest comes after authorities earlier this week released a 36 second surveillance video showing a ‘person of interest’ running down a street not far from the murder scene.
McGalin added that there is no known connection between Jackson and the young victim.
Jackson was found with the jacket in his possession, when he was taken into custody.
The man was described as weighing about 200 pounds, almost 6-feet tall and wearing black trousers and a green jacket with some sort lettering on the back.

At the time, Andre Timonty Jackson Jr, was walking along the same sidewalk, in the opposite direction, to Josue Flores when the former marine suddenly started stabbing the eleven year old boy. We pieced it together. Jackson has now been charged with murder in the case.
