TFI Friday: What time is Chris Evans’ TFI Friday on TV tonight?

He said: “This marriage is entirely different to any other marriage I’ve had”.

Despite ongoing commitments to Radio 2 and now BBC Two’s Top Gear, the host has managed to find time to schedule this new set of programmes into his busy diary, and it will be interesting to see whether the unpredictable, wild nature of the former incarnation can be replicated on an ongoing basis.

“It’s not about time – you can be with someone and not be with them”.

“Often you want your partner to give you more, but actually you need to give them more, and then you will get more”.

“Because they were brilliant at it, I’m not going to do that”.

But he’s pretty chuffed with himself after kicking the booze for 100 days while writing his book on the midlife crisis. Among the experts Chris sought out was the Archbishop of York, John Sentamu to try to figure out “the whole God question”.

“The second you waned off into the ‘well, I’m the main host, and this is my mate over here and my mate over here, if there’s three of you and you go and make a film together, suddenly you’re doing what they did”.

“Just as there is no scientific formula for love… how do I know I love my son?” I didn’t know I could do it for a day.

Isn’t Chris too busy for TFI Friday now?

“I have always thought about it. When I did 100 days not drinking that was such a revelation because I didn’t touch a drop”. But he admitted to seeing a sex therapist to deal with the third party in their marriage – his obsession with work.

He told The Sun: “I’ve massively cut back now”.

More so Evans went on to reveal that filming for the new series is due to commence next Wednesday and that it is expected to air on BBC screens next May.

“I love working. Call that being a workaholic if you like, but I love everything I do, and know I’m very fortunate to be in this position”.

As you will all be painfully aware by now, former TFI Friday host Evans was selected, after much debate and speculation, to replace outspoken Jeremy Clarkson as the host of Top Gear after the original trio all left the show.

Everyone headed back to the 1990s with the return of TFI Friday
