The 10 Best Actors Never To Win An Oscar, According To Fans
“It’s impossible to get your head around what this circus is”, he told Us of dealing with all the press surrounding an Oscar nomination.

Studio films “The Revenant” and the popular “Mad Max: Fury Road” present stiff competition for the beloved indie drama, a contest that also includes Ridley Scott’s adaptation of the Andy Weir novel, “The Martian” and Brad Pitt-vehicle “The Big Short”.
Oscar Awards 2016 are around the corner and fans have started rooting for their favourites, be it in the Best Film category, Best Actor (Male), Best Actor (Female), Best Director or any other category. Will this finally be the year that Leonardo DiCaprio takes home a piece of hardware? My vote would go to Tom McCarthy, an actor and director of growing esteem whose restrained yet gripping Spotlight makes him a deserving recipient.
As the Oscar night is approaching, London shows its support to actor Leonardo DiCaprio, nominated for an Oscar as Best Actor in a Leading Role.
Brutal and methodical in execution, grand and incredible in cinematography, The Revenant has been the toast of award season this year, with DiCaprio scalping nearly every awards that matter – including BAFTA, SAG Award and the Golden Globe among others. But that’s all academic if you ask me, because I think Alejandro G Inarritu (above) will win for his extraordinary work on The Revenant. She has the upper hand, I think, because Room seems more well liked by The Academy, and Larson is the hot ticket at the moment. DiCaprio is hoping to receive the bronze statue finished in 24-karat gold for the first time at the Annual Academy Awards ceremony this weekend.
Everyone is picking Alicia Vikander to win (even though it’s for a lead performance) and I won’t be surprised if she does win.
Considering Rooney Mara was at least as good and had as much screen-time as Blanchett in Carol, she should have been nominated for Best Actress – so give her the prize!
Probably “The Revenant.” The movie has been killing it on the awards circuit, blowing up the box office and has a fascinating story behind it involving cast and crew having to brace the brutal conditions of nature in order to bring something spectacular.
With “See You Again” and “Love Me Like You Do” being left off, this one emerged as the frontrunner.
Striking and handsome looking landscapes.
“Spotlight” is expected to win one race handily: Original Screenplay. Jennifer’s character was one that at times you didn’t know whether to laugh, get mad, feel sympathy for or get upset at.
Only one of the nominees that I saw.
I’m going to throw a curveball.
