In a recent statement, Sean Murray from Hello Games has detailed the first-day patch/update for No Man’s Sky. Planets have moved. Environments have changed biomes. As far as the impressions regarding the leaked version go, patient players who waited until “Hello Games” actually released the title will be treated to what is actually the version that the developers were aiming for thanks to the day-one patch.

Hello Games has also promised bigger galaxies, more diverse planets and extreme hazards like blizzards and dust storms. Being a survival game, everything needs resources – from your suit to your ship’s thrusters – but these resources are always where you need them, so you never find yourself stranded on a planet with nothing to power your vessel.
Hello Games wants to ensure that the players witness memorable terrain that you will be excited to tell your friends about.
A player with an early copy of No Man’s Sky has already claimed to have seen-effectively, since it’s not literally possible-everything there is to see in the game, but a day-one patch will change all that in more ways than one.

Workaround: In a statement to IGN, No Man’s Sky’s developers stated that “the game has several protocols in place to ensure this doesn’t happen” and supposedly No Man’s Sky redirects you to another NPC with the antimatter.
