U.S. Senate hopeful from Wisconsin Russ Feingold is trying to stay neutral in the ongoing Democratic nomination fight between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Hillary Clinton was looking to bounce back, while Bernie Sanders was hoping his momentum would continue.

The debate is taking place at the Helen Bader Concert Hall in the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Democratic Party leaders say Milwaukee was chosen to host the presidential debate because of the state’s battleground status in the Midwest.

Gov. Scott Walker gave Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump a vote of confidence in his home state Thursday, five months after urging Republican presidential candidates to coalesce around a conservative alternative to the real estate mogul.
This Democratic National Committee (DNC)-sanctioned debate is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. EST.
“NewsHour” co-anchors and managing editors Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff will moderate.
Johnson also has not endorsed anyone in the muddled Republican presidential race before Wisconsin’s April 5 primary.

It’ll air live on local PBS stations, with a live stream on the PBSNewsHour website, and CNN will simulcast it as well. In addition to the national live broadcast on PBS, viewers can watch the event online at http://www.pbs.org/newshour/. It will partner with Salem again for two future Republican events and with the Telemundo network for one of the GOP debates, on February 25. But after the long wait, there will be two debates in four days (March 6 in Flint, Mich., and March 9 in Miami). The candidates will head to Greenville, South Carolina.
