The 8 Most Awkward Moments of The Bachelorette Episode 5
According to Evan, a.k.a. the most whiny contestant in Bachelor history, Alex became “the new Chad” due to his chauvinistic behavior during the Pennsylvania rose ceremony. He also made a handful of surprising confessions. JoJo was just like “wow”.

Per usual, the competition picks up immediately.
While JoJo and Jordan are “sealing the deal” the other guys are getting haircuts and reading gossip magazines.
Once they had that out of the way, Jordan talked about falling in love with JoJo; not that he was already in love, but that he was falling. Afterwards, they share a candlelight dinner and JoJo calls on a ghost from Jordan’s past – his ex-girlfriend. Jordan ultimately owns his mistakes from that relationship and sums it up as follows: “Unfortunately it has a lot to do with sports”. “I’m hurt”, Vinny says, leaving in tears, with his head down to reveal his bad haircut in all its glory.
“I’m pretty good at it”, the Tulsan answered smugly. The last episode ended on a cliffhanger with Chad coming back to the house after being eliminated on the two-on-one date.
After a brief hiatus, “The Bachelorette” Season 12 (2016) returns with episode 5 featuring the events of fifth week of JoJo Fletcher’s journey to find true love. Poor James F. He took the time to write a poem for JoJo and their moment gets interrupted by Alex before his final stanza. She gives them a speech about how disappointed she was by Chad, she hopes that no one else will act the way that he has and she is serious about finding love. In the interview, Chad revealed that Jojo is still in love with him and that she joined the show for publicity. She will be saying through tears that she does not get people like that and that she does not deserve it.
JoJo took Luke, Derek, Chase, Evan, James T., Vinny, Grant, Wells, and Alex on a group date. JoJo introduces the activity: sand surfing, but it’s cut short by torrential downpours. An In Touch story informs them that JoJo’s ex, yet another Chad, alleges that they were seeing each other throughout The Bachelor; everyone wonders if SHE’s the one who isn’t there for the right reasons. And to spook the guys by sliding his hands down the glass-front door like a horror movie villain, which I enjoyed. The two explore the city of Punta Del Este and immerse themselves in the culture; they add an adventurous twist to the day when they dive off a steep cliff and into Uruguayan waters.
“I don’t want to make any judgments or say where it’s going to go”, he told the host. So, they swiftly set up the rose ceremony, and everyone got a rose except for poor: Evan, Grant and Vinny. His victory is so certain that JoJo wants to impress him.
The cocktail party is canceled and we go straight into the rose ceremony.

JoJo will go on to have hometown dates with Jordan, Robby, Luke Pell and Chase McNary. Next week our Bachelorette and her remaining suitors head for Buenos Aires.
