The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to be able to share two new photographs of Princess Charlotte.

The two official images are the first to be released of the fourth-in-line to the British throne since her christening in July.

If you need a boost now that you’re back in the office and still recovering from a turkey tryptophan trance, these Princess Charlotte pictures will perk you up immediately. Kensington House released the photos early on Monday morning (NZ time).

In the new pictures, we can see Charlotte has already mastered sitting up and is clearly very interested in the world around her – laughing in one shot and gazing intently at something behind her mum in another.

Kensington Palace on Sunday released two new photos of Princess Charlotte looking utterly adorable!

A photo released by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge of Princess Charlotte with her cuddly toy dog taken by the Duchess at Anmer Hall in Sandringham earlier this month. One Twitter user named Nicole Roes also mistook Princess Charlotte for Prince George. The intimate photos taken by the Duke and Duchess are released to great fanfare as the public enjoy the personal touches that doting mother Kate Middleton adds to the photographs.

Keen photographer Kate Middleton took the pictures on her Canon EOS 52 Mark II camera, showing Charlotte wearing a pink cardigan over a dress with a collar.

Baby Charlotte now has plenty of brown hair like her mom and blue eyes like her dad, Prince William.
