The 30-year-old inventor and hair extensions expert was the second entrepreneur to receive the boot when she failed to convince industry professionals her team’s “Desert Secrets” cactus seed shampoo was the business. However, Lord Sugar was unimpressed with the choice of Koutsomitis. Natalie was very close to going too, I was vying for a double firing.alas it was not meant to be and she fights to live another day.

“You can not give up on your product”.

After her sacking, Kasim said: “I definitely shouldn’t have brought Vana back in with me. And for that reason, I struggle badly”, he said.

He added: “The pitch was bad and I’m very, very disappointed that you gave up on the product”.

Aisha was the second candidate to be fired after Dan in episode one.

And Lord Sugar was not impressed with Aisha’s decision to design a bottle without any images of a cactus on it, although she stands by her thought process. She was sacked after her team lost out in a boys versus girls contest marketing shampoo.

Pitching for the boys was Scott Saunders who delivered a tongue-tied pitch, even going blank in front of the assembled experts, but they were praised for their clear concept and slick looking advert, although Lord Sugar pointed out that it never contained a shot of any hair post-shampooing.

The girls’ confused attempt at a TV ad – something about a mother giving her daughter a massage but with no happy ending – was less fun, with Selina wondering “I think our ad is really classy and it’s appealing to our target market and all those things but could it be considered boring…?”

“So that for me was like, “Maybe we wouldn’t actually be best to work together, because I don’t think that’s such a insane idea – I think it’s something to consider at least”.
