The awkward Leonardo DiCaprio moment you DIDN’T see at the Golden Globes

On Sunday, Leonardo DiCaprio won a Golden Globe for his starring role in The Revenant, a movie where he definitely did not get raped by a bear. He explained that he wasn’t trying to be malicious by laughing and sneering at Lady Gaga, 29, he simply didn’t know she was walking by at that exact moment.

Now, it’s come to the fore that a source present at the after-party saw Leo, Gaga and her fiance Taylor Kinney laugh while watching the clip back at the after-party, held at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood. Kinney felt like DiCaprio was being rude and asked him to apologize to his soon-to-be wife. GaGa was not about to let him steal her moment and she wanted to shut him up.

The specific event that has now gone viral and is spreading across the internet is the apparent reaction of the award winning actor when Gaga accidentally shoved his elbow as she was making her way towards the stage to accept an award. If anything, it was predictable that Gaga wasn’t going to be wearing or doing anything outlandish at the Golden Globes, because she’s spent two years scrubbing away the image of herself that left casual fans more or less exhausted by the beginning of 2014. He then seemed to cast some serious shade her way.

“We were laughing about it afterwards”.

But, he said, “On a personal level, I am not here to complain about anything because I have been so incredibly fortunate in my life that if I were even to hear myself say that I wished this or I wished that, it would be quite nauseating”.
