The Bachelor 2016 could be headed to an explosive finale, with spoilers indicating that Ben Higgins may have broken one of the show’s unwritten rules and could leave open the possibility of changing his mind after the final rose is handed out. Soon, they’re joined by Amanda’s two adorable daughters, Kinsley and Charlie. She admitted to her family that she started the process skeptical which means her motives for going on the show weren’t “the right reasons”. (Hey, that auto ride was “rough.”) Amanda concedes defeat with grace, but admits that she’s pissed that he made her drive through L.A. traffic to dump her, which is pretty harsh if you think about it. Ben cries as her limo sweeps her away because he forgot to give her the toy dream house he made and now he has to figure out how to ship it to Denver.

Caila’s dad tells her that he doesn’t want her to get swept up in emotion. Before saying goodbye, Ben told Amanda that her family was “awesome” and “incredible”. Hometown dates were in full effect and let’s just say when it came down to JoJo Fletcher’s family meeting Ben, everyone including Ben was thinking “Oh Brother!” First, she took him to her high school where she said she “became [her] own person” and first “felt like [she] was home”. If that wasn’t enough, they accused Ben of brainwashing JoJo and being disingenuous.
The brothers’ attack left Ben feeling “unsettled” and JoJo anxious about losing him. Of course, she takes him to the food trucks because that’s apparently the only thing to do in Portland.
“Caila’s beauty comes from her German, Irish, Swiss, and half-Filipino descent”. But before Ben says good-bye, he leaves dear old dad with a promising sentiment. Though it’s unclear why this fact would repel a romantic prospect, she feared it would send her home before Hometowns.
The Third Date: For their first one-on-one date, Ben takes Emily home to meet mom and dad. Though he displays the grimace of a concerned, slightly jealous boyfriend during her recollection of the event, he responds by perking up and telling JoJo he’s proud of her for making the call. Aw. Before Ben could meet her parents, she received a bouquet of roses from her ex. But their criticism screamed hypocrisy: One of the brothers, Ben Patton had his own moment on a reality dating series. Uh, I think you just answered your own question. Do you think Ben will break JoJo’s heart? Furthermore, she deserves to be believed by the people who claim to love her so much that they’d rather trust their own, made-up worst-case-scenario judgements.
