So, it’s confirmed: That creepy vibe we’re getting from Chad through the screen also comes across IRL. He is ridiculous and needs to get his muscles under control! This date was intense, but they both said they felt an instant connection. Duh!

For some unusual reason, Jojo Fletcher has kept Chad Johnson around. Stay tuned for spoilers for episode 4. Chad keeps confronting the other guys, and more! Creating the ideal bicep can come at a cost, and turns out, there are a lot of men who don’t like roid rage as much as he does, so when Chris Harrison tells him to settle things with the guys, he instead threatens to sever their limbs. At least until then you can sleep soundly knowing Chad isn’t looking for you.
“If I talk to you, I get dragged down”, Daniel said. “You can say that now, here, right here”. That’s right, we’re back to Chad again. I’m going to finally stand up to the guy. After that, Chad doubled-down on his attack, pushing Evan while yelling, “You’re going to f***ing die dude, if you don’t chill out”. Derek accused Chad of making misogynistic comments and coming on the show just to get “in front of a camera”. But why did Evan have to poke the beast? O RLY? Because at this point, it seems like JoJo is the distraction from Chad. Everyone will then travel to Pennsylvania for the next round of dates.
So sometimes in a season, there’s the awkward date that forces intimacy before a couple is really ready, like when Ben Higgins had a group date at the Love Lab. Ugh, will this ever end? He refused to apologize to Evan for their altercation, though he did offer him $20 for damaging Evan’s shirt. Can these guys please pull themselves together? While using his knowledge for Erectile Dysfunction, Evan goes on a rant about steroid use – and even steroid overdosing – and pretty much alludes to the fact that Chad’s muscles aren’t home grown.
Chad was not the politest of the group or the most PC or even the most gentlemanly to JoJo. You know when she made that announcement to the group Chad lost his mind. And he’s not wrong in perceiving most of these attacks (or, as Derek would say, “perception is reality”). The rest of the men vying for JoJo Fletcher’s heart seem to be nice, upstanding men who go with the flow. Of course, Chad ranting in the diary room that he was going to rip off everyone’s arms and limbs definitely didn’t help his case any. What does this mean for Chad’s future?
James Taylor earned the invite for the other one-on-one date, which involved swing dancing.
Luke – who could be Josh Romney’s stunt double – proved he’s more than capable of chopping wood during his one-on-one with JoJo. “At dinner, so much of that mystery started to make sense”, Fletcher explained. There is something so endearing about him.
Everybody lightened up when JoJo showed up for a pool party.
Sparks flew when Evan went to Chris and expressed concerns about Chad.
When Alex tattles on Chad’s threats, JoJo is upset, confused and overwhelmed. What’s he going to do? JoJo might be done with Chad, but he isn’t done with her – and that’s the cliffhanger that everyone is left with for the next episode.
Yikes! This can’t end well.
