“I think maybe they can morph it into something that turns into something, it’s possible, but I don’t think where they were at is anything real”, Johnson, 28, tells PEOPLE.

“I’m so unbelievably in love with you”, Jordan, who has repeatedly been called a “fraud” by the critics following this season of The Bachelorette, said as he proposed on a beach in Thailand. Neither Jordan (who showed up of course being all lovey-dovey) nor JoJo really acknowledged that elephant in the room, and went on to discuss more of how happy they are. “I didn’t want you to get down on one knee without telling you that”.

“You’re trying to make a big decision here and I’m getting these little photos and I’m on my phone”, he said.

“I’ll be honest, it’s been hard”, Fletcher said on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose.

Rodgers managed to get the first kiss on the show, and like any good athlete – Jordan actually played for Vanderbilt – he never gave up the lead.

According to Just Jared, “The Bachelor” 2017 could be anyone among Robby Hayes, Chase McNary, and Luke Pell. @joelle_fletcher I love you more than anything!

Considering they’ve only really known each other for a couple of months, they did really well. When is Rodgers turn, he tells her she is his best friend, and Jojo replies by telling him she loves him. “There’s been many nights that I’ve cried myself to sleep”, Fletcher, 25, revealed to Chris Harrison, adding that they had talked on the phone every time a new rumor surfaced in the tabloids. “I’ve been waiting to tell you that I love you”.

Jordan and JoJo are still in the early stages of their wedding plans and have yet to decide on their wedding date.

Still, don’t count Chase, the second runner-up from Denver, out just yet, as JoJo said, “They’re both so deserving of it”.
