‘The Bachelorette’: Jordan Rodgers is about to score a touchdown
Jordan Rodgers, 27, who’s now on ABC’s “The Bachelorette” and is one of the four remaining contestants competing for JoJo Fletcher’s heart, opened up in Monday’s episode about his (non) relationship with his older brother – and, in the process, opened up a whole big can of family-drama worms going into next week’s edition, which is a visit to each suitor’s hometown.

Since day one, the specter of Jordan’s very famous NFL-quarterback brother, Aaron Rodgers, has loomed over the show.
There was some vague talk about Jordan disapproving of his brother’s lack of closeness to the family, including oldest brother Luke, and some backtracking of the criticism, but it’s clear that there’s a rift of some sort. He said, “Like I said, I have a great relationship with my brother Luke”. During a one-on-one date with JoJo, Jordan was determined to open up, especially because it was right before JoJo narrowed the field to the final four guys, who would all get hometown dates.
JoJo Fletcher took her quest to find love (and to get as far away from Chad as possible) to Argentina in last night’s episode of The Bachelorette. In fact, Jordan didn’t think Aaron knew that Jordan was even on the show. “I love him and I can’t imagine what I’s like to be in his shoes and to have the demands from people that he [has]”. For viewers, it is hard to tell if he really does feel that way about JoJo, or if he just knows that he’s on thin ice and now is the time he has to go all-in to stay.
JoJo: “So you guys don’t talk at all.” .
Rumor has it that Jordan will be the man who will end up engaged to JoJo during the Final Rose Ceremony. This could have been cute, had JoJo and Jordan not immediately ingested their foot juice, and uttered the sentence, “I tasted your feet today”.
There were reports that Jordan dated – and cheated on – Aaron’s girlfriend, Olivia Munn’s, best friend Brittany Farrar.
The Bachelorette Milestone: Jordan tells JoJo he loves her. “Let me just say, she is even more handsome in person!” And maybe there are some bad feelings, as Jordan really wanted to become a famous National Football League player and his brother took the spot.
Jordan made headlines last month when he hinted at a “complicated” relationship with Aaron, but he was marvelously cryptic even then. “We know you didn’t get a one-on-one and now you got it, so shut up”. “Like I said, I have a great relationship with my brother Luke”. He did not receive a solo date like Alex, Jordan, and Luke and he failed to receive a rose on the three-on-one date with Chase and Robby. JoJo was anxious that he hadn’t moved on yet, but he assured her that he’s ready for her and for “us”.
According to OK!, temperatures were soaring at the proposal site, making it uncomfortably warm – to the point that outfits had to be changed multiple times – but it sounds like emotions were also running hot as JoJo’s suitors each had their own issues to confront. “I’m defined by the character I have…and I just wanted you to know where I’m coming from with that”. “So now I’m nervous”.
