The Banner Saga PS4 and Xbox One Release Date Announced
The Banner Saga is a single player driven Viking saga, where a player’s choice in travel, conversation and combat determines the outcome of their own personal story as well as the survival of an entire civilization.

The port has been planned for some time too, according to Stoic’s founder and director John Watson.
If there’s one recent game that seems to be in everyone’s backlog, it’s The Banner Saga.
The Banner Saga, the hit Kickstarter funded Viking RPG strategy title, will launch for PS4 and Xbox One on January 12, 2016, Stoic and publisher Versus Evil have announced. With this latest achievement, the Stoic team is able to work on more platforms and reach more customers with its games and technology.
“We’ll get out some PS Vita news very soon”.
It should be noted the developer also revealed game saves from the original Banner Saga will carry over to the sequel, The Banner Saga 2.
No price for the PS4 game was mentioned but, as a guide, The Banner Saga costs £14.99 on Steam. If Stoic really has learned from porting Banner Saga over to PS4 and Xbox One, it means Banner Saga 2 will probably be coming to those consoles much faster than it took the first Banner Saga to make the jump.
