The Beatles streaming on Spotify, Apple Music and more starting Christmas Eve
Yes, after weeks of rumours, it looks like The Beatles’ catalogue will arrive on streaming services in time for the festivities, with confirmation due later this morning.

The news comes at a time when streaming services have taken over digital downloads as the most prominent way to consume music, although several artists – most notably Adele and U.S. singer Taylor Swift – have questioned the value of the platform.
The first numbered copy of the LP was rumoured to be John Lennon’s who, according to Paul McCartney, “shouted the loudest” for it when the band made a decision to have the copies numbered.
“The Beatles are the most iconic band in music history and their catalogue is the #1 request from our subscribers around the world”, said Ethan Rudin, Chief Financial Officer, Rhapsody International.
Now, however, Re/Code reports that The Beatles’ music will appear on Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, TIDAL and Amazon Prime Music.
People will also be able to keep track of where in the world the music is available through the official Beatles website.
The Beatles have been notoriously slow to appear on new music services.

The list of places which won’t have The Beatles’ music is surprisingly much shorter, with only two – Pandora and Rdio – not having direct access to the music.
