‘The Big Bang Theory: The Separation Oscillation’
In the end, though, all it took was a serious conversation between Leonard and Penny for each to admit they were afraid of losing the other and… presto!

Showrunner Steve Molaro previously revealed to ABC News that though Penny was playing with the thought that she’s fine with Leonard kissing another woman, she is still questioning whether she and Leonard should move forward as a couple or not. Luckily, Leonard wakes up in his bed, having just dreamt the whole thing.
But, on tonight’s episode, he hits out at Amy during a new edition of “Fun with Flags”, and Amy is left fuming.
Over at the comic store, Raj catches up with the drama between Leonard and Penny. Mandy then tells Leonard that he might be trying to destroy his relationship with Mandy without knowing it. “I’m gonna kill him”, she says with passion. In order to officially start the celebrations, Leonard and the gang decide to go for a road trip so that they can give him a bachelor’s party and as expected things don’t go as smooth as they would want it to be. “I didn’t think that was how Leonard was”, Penny said.
Leonard looks into marriage counseling but is put off by the cost, even for marriages that have only been on the books for less than a day.
It turns out that Penny has the same idea as Leonard, and she tries to reach out to the women that Leonard kissed a few years back, so could we be seeing a three-way meeting between Mandy, Penny, and Leonard, rather than just with Mandy and Leonard?
The storyline at least allowed Penny and Leonard to question whether all their problems are down to their worry of each other leaving for a more suitable partner (which makes a hell of a lot of sense).
At girl’s night, Penny hashes out her issues with Leonard to Bernadette and Amy. Meanwhile, Sheldon records a new episode of Fun with Flags, where he talks about how Amy broke his heart. He points out to his audience that he doesn’t need Amy around, since his right hand can do everything she did just as well (he’s talking about starting and stopping the camera, of course). But instead he hosts an episode of Fun with Flags all about flags torn apart by countries breaking up.
Making her appearance in the episode as Mandy is Melissa Tang. In their free time, Leonard and Sheldon enjoy fantasy role-playing games with their ever-expanding universe of friends, including fellow scientists Koothrappali, Wolowitz and Wolowitz’s adorable microbiologist wife, Bernadette. She apologized for saying she was OK with Leonard kissing another woman when she wasn’t. She wants space and time to think about their relationship, and instead of giving her that, he thinks the way back into her life – a reentry he is obviously desperate to make – is to maintain constant contact, no matter how annoying she finds that to be.

Full-on kiss. Open mouths, arms around each other, Penny’s leg wrapped around Sheldon’s hip.
