Like its front-wheel-drive equivalent, the Clubman All4 comes with Mini’s optional Dynamic Damper Control suspension.
Previously, Mini introduced and only offered All4 on its Countryman model, a larger, plumper version of the Mini Cooper hardtop. With the manual transmission, the auto costs €31,476 in Germany, and with an automatic gearbox, €33,667. An electrohydraulically-actuated hang-on clutch is controlled by the dynamic stability control (DSC) computer, enabling the Clubman to operate most of the time in front-wheel drive. The Cooper ALL4 Clubman still manages 134 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque from its turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, while the Cooper S ALL4 Clubman and its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder keeps a 189 hp and 206 lb-ft rating.
The very latest MINI feeling in a whole new dimension – now also available with all-wheel drive; new MINI Clubman ALL4 combines the innovative vehicle concept in the premium compact segment with an even sportier and more versatile version of hallmark brand driving fun; newly developed all-wheel drive system for the latest MINI generation available in two engine variants. Combined fuel economy grows to 44.8mpg, and Carbon dioxide drops to 146g/km.
The Cooper SD Clubman is almost as brisk, with a 7.2sec 0-62mph figure and 138mph top speed.
The diesel, which comes exclusively with the eight-speed automatic, is the more frugal of the two powertrains, offering 58.9mpg combined and producing 126g/km of Carbon dioxide on the European Union cycle. This adjusts damping harshness via the car’s different driving modes, broadening the Clubman’s breadth of ability.

High beam assist, road sign detection, Parking Assist, a rear-view camera, Mini’s connected infotainment system and sat-nav can also be added. Prices therefore start from £24,305 for the petrol-powered Cooper S ALL4, and rise to £27,410 for the diesel Cooper SD ALL4 with its automatic transmission.
