‘The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey’ Will Be Shorter Than Planned
In perhaps one of the most highly anticipated interviews of the year, host Phil McGraw kicked off the 15th season of the Dr. Phil show on Monday by sitting down with Burke for the first installment of a three-part interview.

The older brother of JonBenet Ramsey says the media made his family’s life “crazy” after his 6-year-old sister’s death 20 years ago.
JonBenet Ramsey will air as part of a two-night event, starting on September 18th and ending on September 19th.
I watched the first segment, where Burke and his dad, John Ramsey, revisited the tragic case in between copious commercial breaks and staged reenactment clips augmented with horror-movie music.
After showing never-before-seen footage from his meeting with a detective at the time of his sister’s death, Dr. Phil mentioned, “I think people are reacting to the fact that you seem to be unbothered by all of this”.
Dr. Phil asked Burke if he’d been “hiding out” for the last two decades. For the 20th anniversary, Burke the agreed to answer all questions Dr. Phil put to him.
“I, of course, can not say if she – by looking at this – absotutley did it”.
But luckily, Dr. Phil will not go soft on Ramsey, and says what viewers will be thinking, by stating that many people will think that Burke Ramsey had no curiosity, because he already knew what was going on. So I was pretty skeptical of any sort of media.
“The first thing I remember is my mom bursting into my room really frantic saying ‘Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, ‘ running around my room now I know looking for JonBenet”.
“I guess I kind of like to avoid conflict or, I don’t know, I guess I just felt safer there”, he said.
The story of JonBenet’s murder and the ensuing investigation is also the subject of numerous upcoming TV programs, including a four-hour CBS documentary, which was cut down from six hours.

“#DrPhil This interview with Burke Ramsey is odd, why does Burke have a constant grin on his face when answering questions, just nerves??”, one viewer tweeted after watching.
