The Crazies Overrun North Carolina As Trump Leads In New Poll
Talk about an August of outsiders.

Apparently, there is a declared independent candidate in North Carolina named “Deez Nuts”, so Public Policy Polling had to ask over 950 voters what they thought of the candidate.
BRIAN SNYDER/REUTERS GOP hopeful Donald Trump is leading in polls, but he faces some competition from “Deez Nuts”.
When worldwide Business Times attempted to contact the address listed on the presidential filing, Deez Nuts was not a name associated with that particular house.
The song, titled “Deeez Nuuuts” contains a bevy of sexually explicit lyrics laid over a catchy beat.
A candidate known as “Deez Nuts” is polling at a respectable 9 percent in North Carolina. A Democrat can win without it, but failure to carry the state all but guarantees a tight election, since North Carolina only leans slightly more red than the nation as a whole. If Deez Nuts ran against Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in a general election, 9 percent of voters would rather go with Deez Nuts than Trump or Clinton. Because Nuts is running as an independent, he isn’t matched against those candidates in potential primaries.
According to CBS, Deez Nuts of Wallingford, Iowa, is among more than 500 people who have now filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission as of last month.

It must be noted that Mr. Nuts, whoever he may be, has also put up respectable polling numbers in other states, such as Minnesota and Iowa.
