Conan and Aquaman may not be the only two iconic comic book characters that are inhabited by former Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa.

Momoa took to Instagram to post a pic of himself along with The Crow reboot director Corin Hardy.

This new version of The Crow is said to be a much more accurate adaptation of the beloved graphic novel by James O’Barr. The only film Hardy is now attached to that is casting is The Crow, so this was a pretty good hint at things to come.

The Crow was originally published as a four issue miniseries in 1989. He made his first appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will next be seen in Justice League before starring in his solo Aquaman film set for 2018. He is now filming his role in Warner Bros.

The Crow follows Eric Draven, a murder victim who is returned from the dead and seeks vengeance on those who murdered him and his fiancé. Earlier this year, Relativity chief Ryan Kavanaugh brought in Dana Brunetti, producer of The Social Network, Captain Phillips and House of Cards, to steer the company’s new creative vision. Colin Hardy is now attached to the reboot.

Hardy had previous cast Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire, Ben-Hur) in the role but he had to drop out due to lots and lots of delays. Momoa is represented by APA, LINK Entertainment and attorney Bill Sobel.
