The Dark Side rises in new “Star Wars”
The focus of this trailer seems to be split between Ren and one of the movie’s new heroes, Oscar Isaac’s X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron, whose confrontation with the masked villain gets a few more seconds of screentime. I’ve seen pictures of myself with makeup on and I look like those women who look like they’re wearing makeup so they can look young, and I don’t think that’s good. However, this ad officially gives him the famed Imperial March theme music of his idol Darth Vader, and even has a new voiceover from Andy Serkis as Kylo Ren’s suspected master and leader of the First Order. Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley has revealed that iconic director Steven Spielberg has seen the new Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, three times. In a video promoting his Star Wars Force For Change charity initiative, we see Abrams wondering the same question. To this, the voice of Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren, answers, “Yes”.
The TV spot also shows Chewbacca and Han Solo fighting the dark side.
