The Division Characters Are Being Randomly Deleted Following the April 12 Update

There are also new items and some of them are showcased in the video as well as the added ability to trade loot.

We can’t add much more to this – the situation is pretty embarrassing, since the first update is completely getting rid of many players’ characters without any explanation.

There are multiple reports popping up today that the latest patch for Ubisoft’s The Division has, for an unlucky few on Xbox One, resulted in the demise of their character. However, other players have stated that they’ve received these error messages on shutdown from day one of the game’s release, so it remains unclear if this error message has any ties to the problem. “This issue will require further investigation and will not be fixed with this hotfix”. In the Dark Zone, you can only drop loot inside the Dark Zone gate.

This is the first raid-like update for this game and is certainly the first of many.

If you have installed this new update and logged in to find out that your character is deleted, you need to wait for a solution as Ubisoft has confirmed that they are investigating this issue.

Striker’s Battlegear: The Striker set is designed more for damage-designed gunners.

Assignments are new tasks – killing 10 Cleaners, for example – that are meant as brief, optional side goals that update daily and can earn you Phoenix Credits, Division tech, and other rewards.

Have you lost your Xbox One character because of this mess?

The new Gear Sets will drop from Challenge-level activities with a handful of crafting blueprints available.

You can check out the patch notes for the same here but most importantly, update 1.1 brings the first Incursion with Falcon Lost. Finally, the enigmatically named Path of the Nomad is ideal for lone wanderers, making it particularly useful in the Dark Zone.
