Harry then participated and in a game of mental health Jenga at the Young Minds which is the United Kingdom’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.

Each royal has appeared at numerous public engagements for charities raising awareness about the impact of mental illness, particularly among youth. The Saturdays singer is one of the stars supporting the royal campaign, alongside model Abby Clancy.

“Boxing is fantastic for your mental state”.

Kate, 34, also spoke at the event and echoed William’s sentiment, saying, “People feel afraid to admit they are struggling with their mental health. Keeping fit is a very important part of anybody’s development but more so if you’ve got mental health problems”.

“The royals together with Mind and other charities will be a real fighting force”.

“By putting our heads together we can all make a huge difference”, Prince Harry said at the event.

Jonny Benjamin met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge earlier this year and talked to them about how a stranger stopped him from taking his own life.

The royal trio, who wear matching blue headbands for the launch of Heads Together, are seen to be joking about in the gardens of Kensington Palace. In launching their new program, the three royals hope to “change the national conversation” on psychological health.

As if we needed any more of a reason to love them! Thank you for joining us at the start of this exciting journey.

Mind offers structured physical activity programmes such as Boxercise, Thai Chi and even laughter yoga to help people in recovery from mental health problems.

The Cambridges and Harry each took it in turn to speak to the audience made up of senior staff and supporters of the charities, who are part of the campaign, and those they have helped.

Heads Together will partner with various charities to raise awareness of mental health issues, and has been named 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon Charity of the Year.
