The end date for Game of Thrones has been announced

The announcement comes a month after David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, Game of Thrones’ executive producers, said they would like to end the show in 73 hours. “Believe me, as the new [programming executive] coming in, if I could get them to do more”. The details were scant then – and well, they’re still scant now – but we have just learned a few more tidbits on just what Stewart will be up to at the network. “If I could get them to do more, I would take 10 seasons, but we want to take their lead with what they can do and what the best version of the show is”.

When HBO signed Jon Stewart to a four-year production deal after his departure from “The Daily Show”, details were scant about what fruit that deal might bear.

Mr Bloys indicated there could be just six episodes in the final season but said the exact number – and the length of the episodes – was still up in the air.

Also, when Game of Thrones returns for it seventh season, there will only be seven episodes instead of 10, which is the usual number of episodes per season. It’s a pretty intense production, they’re about to start production soon. Last year, “Game of Thrones” received a record 12 Emmy Awards for a series in a single year. There is hope for a spinoff, but it has to make sense for Benioff and Weiss.

The end is near for Game of Thrones.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bloys explained: “We’ve talked about it”.

“It’s not something I’m opposed to, but of course it has to make sense creatively”, he said. “But there’s no concrete plans or anything at this point”.
