The ESPN Brazil call of Aaron Rodgers’ Hail Mary is fantastic

But the Detroit facemask penalty extended the game and the Packers pulled off the miracle. Starks did not play any better, rushing the ball nine times for 15 yards while having a fumble in the endzone.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers produced one of the moments of the season on Thursday night, throwing a 60-yard pass to win his side a game with the final play. He planted his foot at about the Green Bay 36 and got it into the end zone, where his tight end found a way to get to it in front of a slew of players from both teams and leaped for the catch.

Just as everybody had drawn it up, right?

A lot went wrong for the Lions. His job is to stay short and drift towards the end zone, where an inevitable pileup of receivers and defensive backs will happen. Do I jump for it, or wait for the tip? The answer, unsurprisingly, lies somewhere in the middle. I can’t believe Richard got it… “[She] is willing to make me a priority and be understanding with my life and everything that comes with it”. “It was just good to get a win here”, said Richard Rodgers. Well, whether it’s on the one or if it’s incomplete it doesn’t really matter at that point.

CRUCIAL SCRAMBLE: The Lions looked out of sorts defensively on a crucial scramble by Rodgers.

He will never forget the one he threw Thursday night, a play that might have saved the Green Bay Packers’ season.

Aaron Rodgers (12) raises his arms in victory during the fourth quarter against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Since time ran out on the final play, the Packers did not have time to kick an extra point, and they did not need it because they had already won.

“Defensively, it’s sort of the reverse of that. It is the greatest feeling on football field in a long time”.

Following two incompletions, including one in which Detroit appeared to get away with pass interference, Rodgers threw a pass to James Jones and the ball was lateraled twice, leaving the quarterback with the ball and no one behind him to pitch to keep the play alive.

“All I saw was the dude catching the ball”, cornerback Darius Slay said.

Then, a face mask penalty put the Packers in close enough range to deliver a Hail Mary…which Rodgers delivered in miraculous and grand style. I knid of saw the same thing. “He was like ‘we’ve got to go forward, there’s no time left we’ve got to do something.’ So, it worked out in our favor, I guess”, said Richard Rodgers. How often has a team lost because it sent a light blitz in a Hail Mary situation, dropped six defenders really deep and then couldn’t make a tackle after the offensive team threw a 10-yard slant play? “That’s another element of the play”. Maybe you can; maybe you can’t.
