The Fallout 4 modding scene has already started

Having dealt with some pretty daunting and challenging bugs in Skyrim, Bethesda believes that it’s better prepared to deal with the open world in its upcoming title, Fallout 4.

We are, nonetheless, four months short of the original game’s release, let alone the mods; but that didn’t stop some of the active modders from starting to prepare for it.

Howard admitted that there “will always be problems” in a open-world game of this nature, though he did note that overall, Bethesda is much better prepared to handle these glitches should – or when – they occur.

He states, “saved game is the number one thing”. That’s our scenario that we will do anything and everything to avoid. “This just builds on that”. “If Sony says no, we won’t, but I don’t think they will”. “So early 2016, the creation mod for the PC, and then we’re going to make that work on the Xbox One, and then we’re going to do the PS4 version”. Zealotlee is also working on adding customizable grips and new optic sights. Todd Howard recently did an interview with Game Informer, talking about the lessons that the team learned in interpreting player data was key in helping them patch the game.

Fallout fans rejoiced when Bethesda announced at the E3 2015 last June that Fallout 4 in Xbox One will fully support mods created with the PC. The title features full physically based rendering and dynamic volumetric lighting. The gun will only make it into Fallout 4 once the game’s mod tools are available so there is still some waiting.
