Apple fans have been debating for months whether the company would be releasing an “S” model this year or not.

9to5mac has shared a few images, showing a prototype of the next iPhone’s logic board.

Other reports suggest that the iPhone 6S could also be available in pink, with improved OLED screens improving the device’s visibility, essentially making it brighter as a result.

The lack of external changes mean that case and accessory makers will not have to worry about redesigning their products for the new phone.

If we are to believe the latest one, the iPhone 6S camera is going to be wonderful with Apple giving users a 12 megapixel sensor with the ability to shoot video in 4K resolution.

Meanwhile, additional images reveal that Apple might use Qualcomm’s MDM9635M LTE modem in the iPhone 6S, which could double its download speed as compared to the iPhone 6 and also increase battery through efficient power management.

Finally Kuo’s note added that the biggest change in terms of design will be the use of a new “grade of aluminium” which will help make the phone stronger.

Last but not least, we’re given a glimpse into the bottom design of the next-gen iPhone 6s too. In a report by 9to5mac, the new iPhone will have twice the LTE speed that its predecessor has. The dimensions, position of holes and even the shade of gray offered as a color option, all seem the same for now.

However, the new pics of Apple’s iPhone 6S have met with some derision from people who feel it is simply a repeat of previous glories. The new shell has the same holes for lens, microphone, and flash as the current model. The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus are also speculated to house a 5 MP selfie shooter.

According to leaks the next iPhone might come with a 4K video camera
