The Flash Reveals First Look at Kid Flash!
It was previously revealed that the The Flash Season 3 premiere will be titled “Flashpoint”, confirming that the new season will be based (at least in part) on the popular event story from DC Comics.

“Just like when we met Grant [Gustin] for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero”, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement after Lonsdale was cast in the pivotal role. Wally West as this incarnation of the famed character. The hope was obviously sooner rather than later, but the way in which we’re about to see him doesn’t exactly guarantee that he will be a speedster for very long. When Harrison Wells and Barry recreate the particle accelerator explosion after Zoom took away The Flash’s speed, Wally West and Jesse “Quick” Chambers Wells were hit with the speed force. That was enough to lead many to speculate that in due time, both could become speedsters in their own way.
Ever since Keiynan Lonsdale debuted as Wally West in season two of The Flash, we knew he would eventually gain super-speed and help Barry Allen fight villains as the Fastest Teen Alive. Gustin later confirmed that the show would be tackling Flashpoint’s storyline, revealing on Twitter that the season three’s premiere title would be “Flashpoint”. It’s unclear what sort of changes will blossom as a result of Barry’s actions in the series, though perhaps Wally having superpowers will be among the new changes to the world.
