‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Reverse-Flash’s return explained
According to Screen Rant, Reverse-Flash will be making his return in season 2 episode 11, titled “The Reverse-Flash Returns”. That horse has left the barn, however, since literally everyone else Barry cares about already knows his secret.

This episode also features Joe and Iris trying to get to know Wally.
“I have to be really careful what I say here”, Geller said (via TheWrap) when asked by reporters at the Television Critics Association winter press tour about a potential crossover event between the two series. And more than that, Barry won’t be fast enough to stop him. Wally returns to Joe to retrieve his jacket and insists that Joe is the culprit in their relationship.
While things between Barry and Patty are going well, Barry has been having nightmares of Zoom killing Patty.
Robbie Amell as Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm, Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot, Teddy Sears as Jay Garrick, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart, Malese Jow as Linda Park and Violett Beane as Jesse Quick.
Patton: Eventually we do get there. Iris often wants to write and portray him as a hero, so there’s a little bit of friction, and that’s hard for Iris to navigate. It’s hard for him. Alas, Wally’s acceptance of the invite was clearly just a way to make a hasty exit and he does not show up to the family gathering.
IGN: How does the introduction of Wally affect the dynamic of the show? The early minutes of this episode were a nice reminder of how lighthearted the show can be even in its darker periods. When they dance at the art opening, with Barry in his tuxedo preparing to spill his guts before being interrupted by the untimely arrival of a super-villain, we might as well be watching any of a half-dozen Batman movies.
KL: I think fans will really enjoy getting to experience what’s beyond the wall and seeing all that action come to life.
Iris actually gives her good advice.
Would you like to see Iris cross over to “Supergirl”? The idea that she could not be there tomorrow is really hard for Iris to cope with. “We’ll see plenty of Earth 2 and I think we’ll see some Earth 1 people on Earth 2 at some point”. However, she did hint about the Earth 2 version of her character.
“It’s so much more fun to be bad”.
Now that they’ve grown closer, Barry considers telling Patty that he is The Flash. Everything’s different. The world is different, the type of food we eat is different, the drinks we drink are different. Joe takes off and Barry reveals to Iris he’s had a lot on his mind. So I do know now. They go to the same coffee shop. We are looking forward to all of Keiynan’s work, and that includes new music he is now working on!
If you’re wondering if Barry and Patty are going to try a long distance relationship, it doesn’t seem likely. “Why aren’t you at your job?” The introduction of Scott Evans really propels that.
What did you think of this episode of The Flash?
It is an interesting dynamic.
And Patty has always felt like she’s right on the cusp of putting it all together anyway, right? It will be quite the conflict of interest for Iris for sure. While I would assume Patty may return in future episodes, this could be another heartbreak for Barry Allen in a long line of failed relationships. Of course, no one knows Wally’s story arc, but the writers should not make this relationship adversarial, especially because Wally showed up at Joe’s doorstep on Christmas. This is one of the oldest and most exhausted of superhero tropes: the costumed crusader who must keep his identity from his loved ones lest he put them in danger from his enemies.

The Flash will get things started even sooner, as “Potential Energy” will air at 8 pm on The CW on the 19th.
