Xbox One owners will have access to last year’s Thief, a game that was met with mixed reception.

If you own a digital or downloaded version of old Xbox 360 titles, just log into Xbox One and navigate to “My games & apps” section, wherein you will find the full list of Xbox One titles that have been purchased. The 2014 reboot of the action-stealth franchise comes highly recommended by us and will be available from December 16 until January 15. Baseball 14, Skate (1,2,3) and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning available at a discount.
Xbox One Owners will also be able to snap up The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing for the entire month of December. CastleStorm will be available to download starting on December 1, and will remain free until December 16.
Because of the new backwards compatibility feature of the Xbox One, all three Xbox 360 titles will also be available for the newer console. If sneaking is more your style, you could always wait until December 16 to steal Thief. This brawler game sees players taking on wave after wave of enemies in an isometric view.

For Xbox 360 CastleStorm is a tower defence game with a twist, Sacred 3 brings hack-and-slash action set in a medieval fantasy world, and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising which brings some team based FPS action. Coming in on the same schedule as “Sacred” is “Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising”, a title from Codemasters which lets players experience what war feels like as a war simulator. As a special treat for December, an extra fifth game will be tossed in free of charge as well, presumably because Microsoft is in the spirit of giving.
