Hulu has acquired exclusive streaming rights to Sony Pictures Television’s The Goldbergs, which now airs on ABC on Wednesday nights.
Hulu provides the five most recent episodes of current-season shows under its existing pact with the Alphabet net, and ABC also provides those free on ABC.com and other digital platforms. Under this deal, Hulu will offer the full episodes for season one and season two via its two subscription plans.
All episodes of the comedy about a Jewish family in 1980-something are available to stream for Hulu subscribers for $7.99 a month with limited commercials and $11.99 per month with zero ads. Meanwhile, his doting “smother-mother”, Beverly (WENDI McLENDON-COVEY), unwittingly does everything possible to make it an uncomfortable experience.

The Goldbergs focuses on a family in the 1980’s. In the style of The Wonder Years, an adult Adam (voiced by Patton Oswalt) narrates the episodes. There’s also the family’s apathetic, but lovable dad, played by Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Jeff Garlin, and the wacky Goldberg grandpa, played by veteran comedian George Segal. He executive produces as well, alongside Doug Robinson, Seth Gordon, Alex Barnow, and Marc Firek.
