“If people are thinking about violence, please do not tell anybody you are a Bernie Sanders supporter, because those are not the supporters that I want”, the Vermont senator said. About 400 protesters showed up outside the convention center Tuesday, and some clashed with Trump supporters leaving the rally.

Politico also reported that a second journalist, Carla Marinucci, was approached by a Trump staffer at the San Jose event. Trump had said, interrupting his own winding speech to direct his supporters’ attention to a man in the crowd.

Clinton is now in the midst of a five-day swing through California ahead of the state’s June 7 primary.

The latest violence followed Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s scorching critique of Trump in a speech on Thursday in which she derided the real estate developer as a unsafe man with an angry, fearful world view.

“For any one Mexican here he bashes, there are about 20 Mexicans out there who are hard-working and just doing their job”, he said. “The way to defeat him is not by violence of any kind, not by personal harassment, it’s by educating, by organizing and bringing people out to vote”.

Clinton, the leading Democrat running for president, told CNN’s Jake Tapper today that she condemns “all violence” in the political arena and scolded Trump for “lowering the bar” for appropriate behavior at campaign events.

“It’s good to see someone who may be president before they are”, Cheadle said. “All we hear is him attacking the opponents and others”.

Trump also got a strong audience response when he spoke about immigration issues, claiming the border patrol endorses him.

It keeps happening. In Chicago, Kansas City, South Bend, Janesville, Albuquerque, Costa Mesa, and countless other cities, gaggles of paid, increasingly violent left-wing agitators are doing their best to shut down the rights of Trump supporters to peacefully assemble.
