Top adversary Ted Cruz used Trump-like language to jokingly belittle himself and rivals – and take a pot shot at the absentee himself.

The Republican frontrunner decided earlier this week to boycott the debate, citing what he saw as unfair questions aimed at him by FNC anchor Megyn Kelly during the last debate.

That’s how Stephen Colbert kicked off his all-Trump “debate” on CBS’ “The Late Show” Thursday night.

According to the Des Moines Register, Donald Trump has pushed ahead as the first votes for the 2016 presidential election are about to be cast.

Mr. Rubio had been asked to square his position in 2009 and 2010, when he opposed “blanket amnesty”, to his position in 2013, when he was an author of a bill that provided a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants. However, he admitted that now he does not support amnesty.

Two other Republican presidential candidates, who also won past Iowa caucuses were with him: Governor Mike Huckabee and Senator Rick Santorum. But ratings experts said Trump did appear to take a chunk out of Fox’s audience.

“By missing the debate, he doesn’t have an “oops” moment”, Smith said.

“I didn’t want to be here”.

“You may be feeling bad… you may be in a state of major depression”, he told the crowd.

“You know, look, the man has spent a hundred million on ads, he’s working very hard”, Trump said.

With the Iowa Caususes days away, Donald Trump sharpened his attacks on Ted Cruz in Nashua Friday, calling Cruz a Canadian “anchor baby”.

“I’m a maniac and everyone on this stage is stupid, fat, and ugly”. “The thing about Donald Trump is he appeals to untraditional voters”. I really don’t understand why.

Selzer’s poll is widely respected in the political world. I’m glad I wasn’t there. “They just waited a long time“, he said.

Rubio said Republicans won’t beat Clinton “with someone that will say or do anything to get elected”.

Trump said his event had drawn more of a media presence, and said they’d raised more than $5 million for his personal foundation, including $1 million of his own funds, which will be distributed to veterans’ groups.
