The Heat: Equality protests in US
Kid Rock’s statement came before the first games of the NFL season, during which Kaepernick continued his protest against police brutality and this country’s treatment of minorities by not standing for the national anthem.

“South Park” has never been hesitant to criticize the establishment – until now. There are many other common forms of display that are just as disrespectful, but this is far and away the most visible.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is committing what some people consider to be one of the most heinous acts.
South Park dives into a hot button issue in the show’s latest promo, which makes fun of Colin Kaepernick’s recent refusal to stand during the National Anthem.
Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane and United States Women’s National Team soccer player Megan Rapinoe also knelt during the anthem recently and said they did so in support of Kaepernick’s message.
“Oh, I just got all my stuff back/Cops are pigs again, cops are pigs/Colin Kaepernick’s a good backup…” Cops are pigs, cops are pigs.
“Colin Kaepernick is fearless, cops are pigs, cops are pigs”. He was joined by safety Eric Reid. Kaepernick’s Monday Night competition, Robert Quinn and Kenny Britt of the St. Louis Rams, held up their fists in support as well. His father spent 22 years in the Navy, and his brother also was in the military, so he will show respect to the flag and the anthem.
He suggested that anyone who doesn’t want to stand for the anthem should “get the hell out” of the country.
We see the residents of South Park at the stadium with their hands over their hearts as they recite the updated version of the formerly-patriotic song.
The protests in the National Football League have surfaced some two years after a new civil rights movement against police brutality and racial discrimination mushroomed and came to be known as Black Lives Matter.
