The Hill: Haley Attack on Trump Causes Firestorm
If Google searches say anything about her ability to pique voter interest, The Washington Post reported that searches for Gov. Haley surged Tuesday night, outpacing both Donald Trump and Barack Obama searches.

Haley urged the public to resist “the siren call of the angriest voices”, which she later admitted was an implicit shot at Trump as well as other people.
“She said the truth…I am angry because the country is in mess”, Trump said during the Republican presidential debate in SC.
In an interview on Today, Haley confirmed her comments were directed towards Trump and others who contributed to, what she called, “irresponsible talk”.
Nikki Haley joins Usa military service members and community business partners for the launch of Operation Palmetto Employment, a statewide military employment initiative aimed at making SC the most military-friendly state in the nation, February 26, 2014, at Sysco in Columbia, S.C. You know, a lot of what I was talking about is that we’ve seen across our country – if you look at Ferguson and Baltimore we are seeing that people have to be loud, they have to be angry to have their voices heard.
“I’ve known that for a long time”, Trump said on Fox News.
But wherever you stand on Haley, her story speaks to a certain truth in politics: race is tricky – and there’s always going to be someone unhappy with how you talk about it.
To ensure our entrenched views remain that way, we now seek out news sources that confirm our biases, instead of challenging them. She called them out for what they have done, just like Obama called out Democrats and Republicans.
It’s also possible King, a big Ted Cruz backer, is hoping Haley might yet endorse his candidate before South Carolina’s February 20 primary.
Trump reportedly came out swinging against Haley Wednesday, attacking her on immigration and saying he wasn’t anxious about alienating her.
While the Republican National Committee and many 2016 presidential contenders praised Haley’s response, some conservatives were critical of her apparent references to Trump. Some wonder if her comments further expose the growing divide in the Republican Party, something that wasn’t anticipated before the speech. “She certainly has no trouble asking me for campaign contributions”. “It is a Club that they do do not want a whole lot of people joining”, even though Donald Trump has put together a coalition of supporters that is exactly what the Republican Party claims it wants. He says, “You have to think that every candidate who is running is already thinking about, ‘If I’m nominated, with whom would I want to run?'”
While listing her policy differences with Republican presidential candidates, Haley noted that “Marco Rubio supports amnesty, which I don’t”.
Haley delivered her remarks without stumbling.
Her words angered some conservatives like Ann Coulter, who tweeted out that “Trump should deport Nikki Haley”.

Obama said at times of great change, America has never given in to “those who told us to fear the future” or promised “to restore past glory if we just got some group or idea that was threatening America under control”.
