The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part Two

The final entry in Lionsgate’s blockbuster young adult franchise had a budget of $150 million to $160 million, more than the previous movies. “The Night Before”, a Christmas comedy, is expected to debut with $13 million and the thriller “Secret in Their Eyes” with $8 million.

The second instalment had its charms (mainly in the wardrobe department), but when Hollywood hit upon dividing the third-and-final book into two drawn-out movies, it hit a bump in the road. The Hunger Games series is inspired by the books written by Suzanne Collins. The producers of this movie are Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik. This is a far cry from the shaky cam madness of the first “Hunger Games”, and perhaps the only real improvement to the later entries in the series. Peeta, played by Josh Hutcherson, also enters the games from Katniss’ district. They have earned a lot on box office.

The first part was released in 2012.

Linda has also worked with stars like Jennifer Aniston and Scarlett Johansson as well as movies like The Social Network, and Iron Man 2. The Hunger Games franchise has been pretty thorough in its examination of the human psyche when placed under intense, overwhelming survival situations, and he would need to find a new way to tell such a story.

“We all have one enemy and that’s President Snow”. Will it be the seasoned rebel and childhood love Gale to finally win her heart, or her tortured soulmate Peeta Mellark? This part of the movie was praised by the critics.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is in cinemas now.

At the end of the day, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” will satisfy its fans simply because they will be so emotionally invested in saying goodbye to Katniss and the entire series.

Midday reports on Friday said that the film was looking at a $47 – $49 million haul, which could put it on par with a $104 – $110 million weekend.

Aside from a few outlandish moments toward the end, such as when the creatures from The Descent unexpectedly show up, the picture benefits from its relentless bleakness, as decent people die unexpectedly, personal traumas continue to haunt numerous characters, and Katniss learns that when it comes to government, plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
