An eyewitness tells ET that Rihanna stayed at Drake’s hotel overnight on Sunday after winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Rihanna was spotted out in Manhattan on her way to Nobu wearing a belted white mini-dress and strappy brown heels.
The 29-year-old rapper sported a black and yellow letterman jacket from his clothing company October’s Very Own over a black shirt with khaki trousers and Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit sneakers.
“Drake’s doing too much and Chris is laughing at him behind his back”, a source told Hollywood Life Monday. And a few days prior to that interaction he had a billboard erected in her honor that read: “Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and everyone at OVO” (his label and clothing brand). He was so attentive to her. Now it seems like these two have even more than a hug and a not-quite-kiss up their sleeves.
The duo were spotted in the VIP section and were showered with bottles of D’USSE and Armand de Brignac.
The source adds, “He is so into her”.
Drake would later post a photo on his Instagram account giving Rihanna a kiss and congratulating her for her phenomenal night at the VMAs.

Except, from the looks of it, it appears that Rihanna’s image and lifestyle has come at the expense of Drake’s happiness. Tonight we celebrate you!
