The JASON BOURNE Cast on Resurrecting an Action Hero
Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) believes he knows how the USA government moulded him into a trained killer as part of Operation Treadstone.

It turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks.
Matt Damon made the movie “Jason Bourne” in part because so many fans kept asking him when he was going to make another. That’s mostly consistent with the previous movies, although the 2012 installment The Bourne Legacy did have a final scene that extended through the beginning of the credits, Media Stinger noted.
There is a certain “wash, rinse, repeat” quality to the Jason Bourne franchise that makes it incredibly hard to distinguish one from another.
We want him burning rubber on narrow European streets, burning out the clutches on any motorized vehicle he can hijack. Of course, Tommy Lee Jones’ Dewey is pulling the strings to put an end once and for all to Jason Bourne. It’s all a bunch of gobbledygook, and Jason Bourne’s goofy-ass plot devices are knotted a bit too tightly.
Dewey isn’t so concerned with Bourne’s past as he is with another program on the drive, a comprehensive surveillance program named Iron Hand that involves a wealthy tech magnate named Aaron Kalloor (Riz Ahmed).
Matt Damon is ready to go off the grid. His All-American star persona allows us to understand that although Bourne is a lone ranger who doesn’t hesitate to use violence, we innately trust his moral compass. The studio tried extending the franchise with The Bourne Legacy, but we all know how that worked out. Other welcome faces include Alicia Vikander as a Central Intelligence Agency analyst who has a better bead on Bourne than her superiors; Julia Stiles, in a repeat appearance as the spy’s former contact; and Riz Ahmed as a Silicon Valley billionaire. “I love that Paul Greengrass and Matt and the rest of the people behind these films that always wanted to push to make sure that there’s issues and elements that could be social political, um, to be kind of integrated in this, um, fictional world that makes it nearly feel like it’s relatable to ours”, Vikander said. Based on characters created by Robert Ludlum, the film is written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse.

It’s a amusing thing watching a trailer for a Bourne movie as the appeal is always the mystery in addition to the action.
